Vision

To help Hindu families keep puja, katha, festivals, and learning close to daily life in North America.

Mission

To host programs, ceremonies, and learning that families can attend, understand, and pass on.

Our approach

We keep the doors open, listen to the community, and improve the site and programs as people tell us what they need.

The heart of HSNA

We are a not-for-profit organization, working to become a registered charity. Our goal is to promote awareness about Hindu culture and religion, and we invite you to join us in our mission. Your monthly support or donation will help keep our activities running and enable us to host more events. Currently, we primarily hold events in Calgary, but we’re looking to expand across Canada and the United States.

In the past, our Ram Kathas have drawn thousands of attendees, with prasad, bhandara, and a place for families to sit together. You can watch videos of these events on our YouTube channel. Your support helps us keep these programs open and free to attend.

We have also been involved in teaching young children about the musical history of satsang, bringing our heritage to the next generation.

We will keep adding more history, photos, and updates as the site grows. Read our blog to stay up to date with our events and festivals, and look out for the live streams we’ll host for certain events.
